At XelvaGEN, we’re very conscious of what we put into our bodies. We know you are too. So we take special care in ensuring that every ingredient in our innovative formulas is the finest on Earth. Each one is pharmaceutical grade, consisting of 100% naturally powerful herbs. They are sourced responsibly and blended in our state-of-the-art labs by chemists with the same philosophies. The following is a summary of our ingredients and their accepted uses* known for generations by indigenous healers in the Amazon and around the world.

CATUABA (E. catuaba):  A native of northern Brazil, the bark of this tree is known to calm nerves, resist exhaustion and fatigue, and work in the central nervous system as a general tonic.

COPAIBA (F. copaifera):  Found in the tropical region of South America, Indigenous Amazonians have used the resin of this tree as an analgesic, both internal and external anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and anti-microbial agent.  It is also known to support the immune, respiratory, and digestive systems.

CAT’S CLAW (U. tomentosa):  For thousands of years, Amazonians have used the bark of this woody vine for a multitude of medicinal purposes.  The most accepted uses include anti-inflammation for arthritis relief, and support of the muscular, digestive, and immune systems.

HUACAPU (M. guianensis):  Found throughout the Amazon, this is one of the most versatile trees of the rainforest.  In addition to its use as one of the strongest commercial woods, its bark is known to carry anti-viral, anti-parasitical and antiseptic properties.

SANGRE DE GRADO (C. lechleri):  Yes, “Dragon’s Blood” is a tree, thankfully.  Indigenous healers in the upper Amazon have used its resin for centuries as a “second skin,” known to reduce excessive bleeding, and accelerate healing of insect bites, stings, and general wounds to the skin.

MULATIERO (C. spruceanum):  The bark of this tree has so many uses, we at XelvaGEN drop the “A” and call it “MULTI-ERO.”  The best part?  This tree understands sustainability as it sheds its bark every year!  Native cultures in the Amazon basin use Mulatiero bark to treat cuts and burns, as an anti-fungal for infections of the skin, and as a skin rejuvenator.

AJOS SACHA (M. alliacea):  This shrub is known across the Amazon as a general tonic, known to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and treat symptoms for rheumatism and arthritis relief.

ALOE VERA (A. vera): We use Aloe for one unanimously agreed upon fact:  As a succulent plant, it retains moisture, and this supports soothing of the skin from pain and irritation.

CUMASEBA (S. polyphylla):  Native to the Amazon basin, the bark of this tree is known as an antiseptic that also relieves rheumatism, arthritis, and supports the recovery of inflamed joints and broken bones.

AYAPANA (A. triplinervis):  Found in the western Amazon, the leaves of the Ayapana are used for both internal and external hemorrhaging, as well as support various functions in the digestive system.

MATICO (P. aduncum):  Native to the majority of tropical South America, Matico is considered somewhat of a “pest” as it now flourishes in tropical climates around the world.  Fortunately, the medicinal properties in its leaves are highly sought after.  It is a known antiseptic, wound healer and the ingestion of its fluid extract supports many functions of the urinary and digestive tract.

GUACATONGA (C. sylvestris):  This bush grows wild in the tropical regions of Central and South America and parts of the Caribbean.  Indigenous Amazonians most commonly use its leaves to neutralize snakebites, bug bites and bee stings.

JERGON SACHA (D. loretense):  Here’s an interesting one – the medicinal properties of the jergon sacha lie in its rhizome.  Need a clue?  Think Ginger; a root that lays flat underground, but more snake-like.  Traditionally, Amazonians use this to reduce inflammation and treat snakebites.

GRAVIOLA (A. muricata):  A more fitting name is “Supertree.”  Indigenous to most of the warmest tropical regions in the Americas, clinical research indicates Graviola contains active properties that can destroy cancerous cells without harming healthy ones.  Historically, its traditional use in the Amazon has been to support the immune system, the treatment of bacterial and parasite infections, taken by individuals with high blood pressure, and for stress and nervous disorder management.

UBOS (S. mombin):  Native to the moist, lowland regions of the Amazon, the bark of this tree is known to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties for arthritis, muscle and joint injuries.  It is also considered as an astringent and antiseptic wound healer for various skin conditions.

TAMAMURI (B. acutifolium):  Native to the lowlands of the Amazon basin, Natives consider the Tamamuri bark a well-known remedy for rheumatism and arthritis pain relief. It is also used as a general pain and inflammation remedy.

WHITE WILLOW BARK (S. alba):  The active botanical in this plant is Salicin, which is the natural precursor of processed Asprin.  It is an analgesic and general pain reliever.

BELLACO-CASPI (H. sucuuba):  Native to the central and northern region of South America and the flooded forests of the Amazon, the bark of this tree is used internally for body aches and externally to heal wounds and sores.  It is also used for arthritis, rheumatism and back pain.

BOBINSANA (C. angustifolia):  Native to the north and western regions of the Amazon, the roots and bark of this tree are known as natural pain relievers for rheumatism. They act as a tonic for general wellbeing.

CHUCHUHUASI (M. krukovii):  In Native Peruvian, this means "trembling back," which refers to its traditional use as an anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant for back pain, rheumatism and arthritis. In Peruvian herbal medicine, it continues to serve as the best arthritis treatment available.

SIBERIAN GOLDEN ROOT (R. rosea):  A perennial plant growing in the cold, northern and arctic regions in the world, the golden root is known to increase cellular oxygen uptake along with energy levels to promote faster healing.

Other ingredients:
